It can be purchased at almost any retail outlet in your neighborhood for $7 .99 to $9.99. That includes the handle, 2 cartridges and one holding tray for the razor and a 5 cartridge magazine. A 4 pack of replacement cartridges will set you back anywhere from $8.00 to $11.00 depending where you shop. The Hydro 3 has a nice balance to it. The handle is a combination of metal, plastic and contoured rubber grips. It feels natural in your hand. The Hydro 3 has two features that make it unique. The first is the aloe infused, water activated lubrication reservoir, and it is a reservoir, not just a lubrication strip. The second are the blade guards on the 3 blades. The blade guards keep the skin in between the blades from bulging, this reduces friction or that tugging feeling on your face.
I loved shaving with this razor! This razor has more lubrication than an adult film! I almost never felt the blades. It is well worth the money.
There is not much to criticize except the flimsy plastic tray the razor comes with. If you shave with the Gillette Mach 3, Mach 3 Turbo, or even the M3 Power, you should test drive the Schick Hydro 3 today.Product rating Key:
